On a rare sunny day in Kansas City this past week I took the time to cruise through the West Plaza neighborhood, one of my favorites in the area. The boundaries of the West Plaza are generally Westport Road (43rd) Street and Brush Creek on the north and south, and Madison Avenue and State Line Road on the east and west. The neighborhood has seen its share of controversy, mainly due to the teardowns of older historic buildings to make room for larger, more modern architectural style homes.
LOVE the use of solar panels on this one!!
Found this one under construction after a tearout.
Art Deco movie theater look.
These next three are right next to each other on 47th St.
